Guest andrewchess Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I have just moved into a new house that has an alarm system installed with Optima Plus 2 alarm control pads (2). The previous owner informs me that in the 3 years he has lived there its never worked. The pad is flashing tamper & the number 2. What do I need to do to get it working & what does the number 2 indicate. I'd thought about changing both control pads as I dont have the engineers code just a set/unset code.
Guest Alarm Guard Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Why not consider getting an alarm Co. to look at it. That could be cheaper than replacing the keypads. He could also verify the rest of the alarm and if you arrange a maintenance contract you may get an insurance discount.
