Hi

I have an old Omnicron 8000 (yes, I have read here its not supposed to be much good, but it has worked OK for a long time). I need to move the control panel to a different location. Can someone tell me how to disable the alarm in the bell box when I disconnect the control panel and remove the bell box cover. I seem to remember there was a link, but its so long ago, and my memory isnt what it was alas. Maybe you can also remind me how to shut the control panel up when I take of the cover.

Advising you how to disable any part of an alarm is not something that we do on this site.

When you open the control your code number will stop the alarm sounding.

sorry mate, not wishing to offend, but i do not think anybody on here will tell you how to disable any part of any alarm, simply because we do not know whether you are geniune or not, and i think that still would not make any difference. basically if you are not sure then you should be thinking about calling someone who is..

To be honest and for what it would cost get an engineer in to do the work and get a price for an upgrade to your panel and bellbox.

Nobody will tell you how to disable a systen on this site for obvious reasons.
