User code ENT

Menu 42 ENT

Work your way through the menus using the A & B keys (right and left respectively) and the ENT key - this is very simple

bear in mind that when you get to "user codes" you need to press ent to select. a lot of people have probs where they start pressing digits and nothin happens, its about the only user prompt on galaxy that doesnt say "ENT to select"

Remember the code she wants to change will have a black rectangle next to it, try not to get lost in the menu.

Also it may not have an external sounder, just a dummy cover
Ok guys, thanks very much for the replies with regard to the user code change, whats the story with regard to the system only having a dummy bellbox(es), the reason I ask is that yesterday I was up the ladder at the rear of the house fitting the daughters Sky satellite system and after Whistles post mentioning the system possibly only having a dummy bellbox I looked closer (Without actually taking any covers off etc) at both the front and rear bellboxes, neither had any LED's or any other sign of being powered up in any way,is there any way of telling if they're live or dummies without removing the outer covers and if they are dummies can I then assume that if the system is not remotely monitoried by //.National Installer.// then its basically useless since it has no siren/sounder to even create a degree of noise to draw attention to the property should anybody force or attempt to force entry.

Go into the user menu and do a bell test if they ring there live.

If you need a user manual you can download one here Select Galaxy G2

Ok mate, thanks very much for that, I have'nt had time to even glance at the system yet and just assumed that with it being a professional system that you would'nt have access to bell test functions etc, Thanks again, Dave Walton.
