Guest Spooky Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Hi all, I found this site while searching for information on the Aritech CS350 that's installed in the house I just bought, I guess you get a lot of this I've just about sussed it but I have a couple of questions: The chime option only works on the two zones designated as exit / entry zones. The other two zones don't chime. I know they're working because they show up as open on the display. Is this normal? I have a number of Aritech vibration sensors installed. They seem to be the ball-bearing on four pins type I've been reading about. One has come lose from the window frame and I notice they're stuck on rather than screwed on. What's the reason for this? Can I just glue it back in place? The inhibit function only seems to inhibit zones with no way of uninhibiting them. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance, Spooky
Selsport69 Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 If I remember correctly Chime will only work on your entry exit zones. The reason for the inertia switches being stuck on your window is more than likely the intsaller did not want to screw into your window frames and invaliadate any warranty on the frames. In the inhibit menu pressing the zone number of the zone you have inhibited will take the inhibit off again. Setting then unsetting the system also takes the inhibits off. Kev
