dommer Posted August 10, 2006 Share Posted August 10, 2006 Hi. I have already posted a few times for advice, and I read the boards on most days. I just wanted to say a big thanks to all of you that have spent your own free time replying to my questions. I moved into my new house a while ago. After decorating and so on, I turned my attension to the alarm. I was told after buying the house it did not work. A few questions later I got it working. I have now replaced all the PIR's, added a magnetic contact on the front door, changed the Bell Box and panel. It is only a bells only alarm at the moment but I hope to add a dialler at a later date aswell as more PIR's and a contact on the garge door. In all honesty I was never going to spend enough money to get a professional install. ( Although I would have liked to ) I have also enjoyed doing the work and researching what to buy with your help. I so nearly bought a Sonnade Bell Box. I also enjoyed reading the friendly ( And not so friendly ) banter. Sorry for the long post, I will continue to read and post again when I need some more pointers. Thanks again, Dom.
