Deltaseven
It is not the fact that you have it wired in SCB mode that is causing the left LED to flash. The unit is not seeing a complete tamper loop. Make your tamper springs are all closed when the cover is on. Have you wired the tamper loop as described in the installaton manual (using the wires and terminals from MSW1/2?) D7

Have you wired the tamper loop as described in the installaton manual (using the wires and terminals from MSW1/2?)D7 hi and thanks for the reply..yes i follwed the book on it i think ok.... it tell's me to ''remove the tamper wire from msw 2 on the first unit and connect to spare core '' i take it this means for me to take the wire out of msw2 and hook this wire up to the spare core 'white' on the first unit.......then on the second unit hook this white wire into msw1 ....but do i keep the wire's that by default are already in msw1 and msw2 and just add the new ''white'' wire on top of whats in msw 1 on the second unit.....im not too clear on this.....also i moved the little jumper in unit 1 scb mode after i hooked up the internal batt.....if i wanted to go back to oridgenl mode and just use one outside unit is it just a matter of removing the batt+ wire and putting the jumper back to default pin's....because of the way the house lies in respect of the road i realy wanted two box's...its a very quiet road and the two best spots to be seen by neighbour's (which from what i read from you guy's on this site is realy important and to be seen by the bad boy's ) i would have got a pro to do it but my problem is i already had the bad boy's visit me....just before xmass and they realy cleaned me out so iv'e just got the cash up for the bit's and i know i gotta do this myself.....this is the only thing that has me stumpped...i have followed as much as possible from what you pro's have said on this site.....and i have learned soo much from you all...(for wich i am deaply grateful btw) all my sensor's, reed switch's ,rkp and every thing else check's out well on avo meter...and iv'e real taken the time to do it tidy i think...im hoping to take a few pic's and post em on here....thank's in advance ...yet again... marty... o yes about the tamper switch on the box...it seems to be closing ok , with a click when screw's are almost all the way home... hope this help's in solving the problem
