Ive tried quite a few the standard texecom petwise is very poor not tried the DT version tho. The visonic K9 very poor but the Visonic K9-85 in the NEXT style housing is spot on so is the DS 820. Yes chances are at some point any sensor will false alarm, its just what you deam acceptable rate and what you deam a a flase alarm to be. I think its very hard to make a movement detector only detect certain motion and not others. Guest heliart Posted August 29, 2006 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Bosch DS820/825 great for a DIY install. Zero problems, and I have 5 small dogs. No false alarms in 8 months.
