Guest Drtechno
Hi all, I seen many question about the C&K S700L panel, I have one too. I've just had to reset it after a failure, and now it's working again. I've been able to change to codes to none default ones, but it seams I need help to reprogram the Chime feature for the garage zone. I know this information is in the install manual, which is rightly not available to me. But if someone could get me the relevant passage for programming the chime featue I would be most greatful. JB_
Chances are no on e will give you one as this is 'our' job and this is taking it away from us. Sorry. Nice attitude you got there. Maybe it's also our 'job' to be civilised and try and help if we can yeah? In fact DrTech, you'll find the chime function is user programmable BUT the chime function as a whole needs to be enabled in the engineering section. If it is, then just as JW says, press the * key then the number of the zone(s) you want to chime and then the * key again.
Guest Drtechno
Thanks for all the replies, it's nice to find other engieers who don't mind sharing their knowledge. In fact I was ware that the individual zone chime or not chime was in the user manual, that's how I know the chime feature isn't set-up yet. But as you say that is a programming job... If there is a suitably experience company / engineer in the Keighley (West Yorks) area who would be interested in a small job. please let me know how to contact you and I will. Adrian.
