Guest MikeP Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 eh? Sorry, not the most technical ? so how about can you run rs485 down a 2 core.? What is rs 485 in basic terms. analog perhaps ?
camerabloke Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 whyy do u ask? Eucam Security Systems 0845 4630 746 www.eucam.co.uk
Guest MikeP Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 ok then its a balanced 485 signal so is digital. It uses 2 cores like any rs-485 protocol. But again....why? Sorry james looks like you were answering my question before i got it posted.
Guest MikeP Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 oh yeah thats whats its called?!?! So its basically 0 an 1 s then ?
Guest MikeP Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 i think its a 0v and 5v pulse that is seen as 0's and 1's yesbut remember its balanced so its the difference that is measured So if i stick my oscilloscope on it i will get a nice regualr pattern ?
