Guest Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 i think colin meant you have a tamper fault, and as you have opened the panel chances are its that, but it might not be, could be another one aomewhere else Sorry to persist with this but I want to amke sure I get this right. Assuming it is the springer is it just a case of pressing it so that it sits right, or is there anyhting more to it? Pretty much right - make sure it sort of sits at a right angle to the board - be carefull there are mains voltages inside the panel!!!!!

At least I can know get a good night's sleep without worrying about the alarm going off. One last question I have, if you don't mind, is that when I make sure that the spring is in place , do you think it would be better to turn the connection with mains off?
Guest Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 You should isolate mains before removing cover - but if the backup battery is cream cracked it could possibly stuff your alarm up.
steve Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 may be a long shot but have you reset the panic button that you "accidently" pressed? Steve
