Guest xt600
I'm after some loud souders for internal use. Can someone recommend something that'll be loud enough to hurt? Are there restrictions on sirens sold in the uk as i can find much louder ones on US sites.?

As far as I am aware the loudest commercially available sounder is the "Master Blaster" That is 127dB @ 1m I'm sure somebody will know of a louder one though Regards Bellman Service Engineer and all round nice bloke ) The views above are mine and NOT those of my employer. ian.cant
Im pretty sure the Aritech sounder was around 140db and the Italian "Elkron" ones were pretty harsh too.

Guest
What ever you get leave a note by the panel so the poor basket servicing it dont go home deaf as a door post.
antinode
Elmdene Intersounder or Gardtec Gardsound, either one will blow your ears off. The Master Blaster is OK for warehouses and stuff, unless your an OTT alarm engineer (I've got one in my shed. The whole shed shakes when it goes off) Trade Member

Also got a smoke screen unit at the other side too, just for good measure. Regards Bellman Service Engineer and all round nice bloke ) The views above are mine and NOT those of my employer. Guest xt600
Thanks for your suggestions. I will probably be the only one servicing it so i'll know what to expect! The master balster is a tad expensive....more than the panel! A 12v sounder which can be easily fixed into the ceiling would be best....
