mjw
hi mjw, seems a few are msiing the point me and alarm guard are bantering about. the patern or 'baloon' of a mwd side of the detector will spill through the walls in a narrow room, this is because you need to cover upto the far boundary, so if you have an 'L' shape room to get to the far boundary on each side of the 'L' means the spill over would be into the outside 'inner' of the 'L' which could be a court yard, this may contain a down pipe, so if raining could put the mwd into alarm, then if the pir is tripped say because a fan heater you get an 'unexsplained' false alarm. now can oi get back to my imagination of Jordans boobs? as they have some reference point, ie an artifical scenario blown out of all preportions regs alan i think i am missing some thing...as i said before a dualtec should never have a microwave set so high it can penetrate the building fabric(this is a public forum???i can now imagine all the diy'ers out there turning their dual tecs to maximum),if we were to follow the above statement we would'nt have the the false alarm senario artifical or not..in jordans case very artifical....but hey what ever
norman
what about k band then K is short wave and I know they shouldn't penetrate (developed by MOD?) but I'm sure I read somewhere of problems when they do! Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
james.wilson
they still do but as they are a higher frequency you need a lot more power to penetrate, would help in the l shaped room above, as long as the room wasnt constructed from paper securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. Guest
Stick a 360 on the apex line on the corner, sorted Now watch the debate continue.
arfur mo
Stick a 360 on the apex line on the corner, sorted Now watch the debate continue. if by apex you mean outer corner of the middle then you would get a very sensative area looking the the walls on two sides, so ideally these would be masked, but we are on about dualtecs, so if there a 360 dualtec of any worth the mwd would penetrate the adjacent wall area? regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
