Guest SassC100 Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Hi I have an Optima X6 Alarm in my property which we have never used due to the fact that we have a dog in the house during the day. However the panel has gone off (not the full house alarm just the panel beeping) twice in the last few hours but has never gone off in the two and a half years since we have lived here. Each time I have entered the code and reset the panel and it seems fine but it keeps going off. We don't have a manual as the people who lived here before never used the panel either and so had no information on it. Please can anyone give me any advice on what may be causing this problem? Many Thanks

Guest Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Global Tamper fault or panel tamper switch spring out of place, are possible causes.
Guest Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 you can send me the fiver any way you like mate, i accept paypal!!!lol Nah, i`ll post a copy of a reciept from a local charity to the tune of a fiver.
kka Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 paul move along mate, there has got to be room for me as well in that hugh corner, my excuse is that i.am getting old. on another note, just done a optima xm6, the battery was dead, but did not allow the numbers to be put in until it had a good battery on. now being replaced by new g3 out of corner now , standing beside alarm guard, time for a pro in Kevin Scott.
