Guest Lee Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Following a power cut and all exhausted batteries, I have just reset to factory defaults and reprogrammed everything including the user & engineer codes. I can access everything using engineer code + 00. When I try to programme the Miscellaneous Selections with engineer code + PROG, all I get is an error beep. The zone lights do not come on and I can't access anything. Am I missing something or may the panel be faulty? , Lee

Guest Alarm Guard Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I think you have got a Mk1 panel and Mk2 instructions. Where did you get the engineering instructions from? Paul
Guest Lee Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Thanks Mr Happy... (note to myself) - Must try to be as helpful as this person when someone asks for my help! Alarm Guard... All the instructions and documentation are what came in the box with the panel when I bought it new.
Guest Alarm Guard Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I give in then. Maybe Mr Happy is right.

Guest Lee Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I have successfully used the instructions when the system was first installed. It's only since the power cut and having reloaded factory defaults that I can't access these Miscellaneous Selections. I've read the installation manual through thoroughly, three times now. Maybe I can't see the wood for the trees... Lee
Guest Lee Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 where did you get it from & when? ... and that makes what difference to the problem? It's well out of any warranty before you suggest taking it back to the supplier.
