Guest AndrewRoss Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I have recently moved into a house fitted with a Securit 800L control panel, along with 4 PIR's and 1 PA alarm (I have the User Manual). The PIR's are Zone 1 (Front Door and Back Door PIR's), Zone 2 (Lounge PIR) and Zone 3 (Landing PIR). I have cats and want to leave them whilst I am away and still be able to set as much of the alarm as is possible. To do this I need to isolate Zones 1 and 3, preferably I would like to make it so that the 2 PIR's in zone 1 are seperated, is this done through the control panel (just with a code) or does the wiring have to be physically changed to allow this? My second question is when isolating the zones using the full set, night set or home set I am unable to isolate Zone 1, but can isolate any of the other zones. Is there some way that I can get around this? Thank you very much for any help regarding this! (if the wiring needs to be changed I will have to ring a professional installer, as it is something that I would be unable to do myself)
james.wilson Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 you will need to chnage the wiring, plus it will need reprogramming to allow you to omit the e/e zone (1), plus they will reprogram your part sets securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

Just so I don't get ripped off! Also, thanks for your reply!
