Alex Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Hi, I want to install some external PIR for the CCTV system. Unfortunately the cables come out of the wall at approx 4m height. Customer wants them to stay there so no one can easily tamper with the PIRs. I know that Redwall needs to be installed at about 2m30cm to work properly. Is there anything else I could use which would work at 4m? Maybe GJD? Thanks for your help, Alex , Alex
Guest Director of COP Security Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 You could also use the Risco Watchout as a good low cost alternative look here for details http://www.copsecurity.co.uk/product_detai...roduct=RK-312PR Chris
WatchdogSecurity Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I use GJD Elites, although on my house i had fitted Opal xls so conected the A output to a relay (4 of them) to trigger the dome/Activity The good thing about the gjds are you dont know which way there pointing. bigfoot Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 have you considered the ADPRO range of detectors, pricey, but far better than redwalls i find
