My daughter recently had some work done on her house, new front door and some electrical work. The electrical work required resitilng the control panel. I can attend to the zone detectors OK, but the control panel looks like it has been done by the local butcher. There are wires disconnected, the control panel internal alarm and battery are disconnected.I'm confidant I can correct things, but I really need a wiring diagram for the control panel. Can anybody help. My background is in instrumentation and computers.

Thanks.

Another option may be to just replace the controls with a new one as they are fairly cheap and easily available to DIY users.

The keypads do fail over time and the newer version of the panel has some better features than the original, another advantage is that you will also get all the manuals you will need. :)

Get the old one on ebay after you have replaced it and it will offset some of the cost.

Hope this helps

Hi Tomak welcome to the forum unfortunately we cannot help you, as it say's on the top of the page.

We do not give out Alarm Engineer/Installer manuals, to avoid offence please do not ask us to supply them

You should contact your daughters installer he will be able to help you.

Dear Tomak

Do you still require the manual for the R8?

We can supply free if you still need it.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
