Recommend A Panel?

It's looking like my panel might be dead, any recommendations for a new one, must be 4 zones min, only 1 access point used to the house, let me know if you need any more details

What's your budget?

Cheap and reliable: Scantronic 9448.

Bit more upmarket with an LCD keypad: Gardtec CP8L or Texecom Veritas Excel.

Might I recoment the Texecom Veritas R8 Plus which includes 8 zones and is very simple to install and use.

Go for the Excel mate, same as the R8+ but with a proper keypad.

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

If you go for the Veritas R8 Plus with a LCD keypad you would be looking to pay around about xx however if you went for the Veritas Excel which is the same as the R8 Plus just with a LCD keypad you would be looking at around

~Hello,

I have a Scantronic 9200 (very old I know)

All was working fine until some klutz decided to cut the wires on the internal buzzer and appears to lave lost a part at the sametime.

I now find I can no longer run the alarm.

Is there an easy way of bypassing the buzzer altogether so that the alarm can be armed?

I will have a new alarm installed, but not just yet. I woud like to get this one running again.
