Hi all

My internal sounders seems to be beeping intermittently (about 4 minutes interval) since couple of days ago. None of the lights on the Control panel is on.

It seems to be resetted when I used the AWAY Set yesterday morning, but seems to be started again last night, when I used the HOME Set.

I have an TS400 Control pannel.

Can some one help me.

Have you accidentally turned on the chime feature (a 2 tone beep when ever you open a zone).?.Press HOME twice to see zones set to chime , 0 to exit.

No. It's only beeps once. and only happens in after set the HOME set. When I set the alarm last night, nothing happens for 20 minutes, until I go to bed, and this morning I noticed it was beeping. Once the Alarm turned off, it time interval incresed, and then stoped after a while (2 Hours).

Never used TS400 but other menvier panels beep if theres a power fail or telephone line fault. Usually putting in a user code stops it.

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

Not been funny but is it the alarm panel?

We get a lot of call outs for a panel beeping and found out it was the smoke detector. (Needs battery)

Also had a call out at 1am for a clock radio in a spare bedroom beeping!!!

Thanks for all the advise.

I do have the Smoke alarm on the top of the Control Panel, but why is it sounding only in the night, and after setting the HOME Set alarm. No problems during the daytime. After resetting the alarm in the morning, beeping carries on for a while, and then stops.

Is the smoke detector part of the alarm system?

If not remove battery from it, to see if there still a beeping..

Have you tried to home set during the day then go upstairs to see if it still beeps?
