Guest RICHL Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 I do call out for a property management company and one of their clients has just rang me with a fault on their system. It sounds like it might be a wireless one as she has a fob on her key ring. The fob is white with 3 blue buttons, and on the back it says "NOVAR ED & F". The main panel has leds for line status, alarm status, alarm mem, disarm & ready. Any one any ideas about what it might be?

I think you will find that it is Novar ED&S (not NOVAR ED & F) a Response Alarm magpye Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.

magpye Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Just had an email back confirming that it is indeed a response and it looks like Im going to have to go and do something with it.The thing is beeping intermitantly, any one got any ideas? I dont want to hang about on site for more than is necessary. I'm sure you have thought of this but, what about a smoke detector, had many problems with clients whose hearing, brains and eyes are not connected? magpye Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.
Guest Sh4rpie Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 This sounds like a Response SA5 panel to me. the intermittant beeping sounds like the event log file needs to be looked at, either that or a message has been recorded. just check these and if the beeping doesnt stop, call response on 0845 373 1353 theyll sort it over the phone.
