Guest Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 ARJ is right. We never use the word 'proof' for anything.Another point to remember when fitting vandal resistant is to make sure the fixings are vandal resistant too. No point the equipment being able to withstand a hammering if the screws shear off. Paul Another problem is you can walk into (edited by me) now and purchase "anti vandal" driver heads, so they can just unscrew the stuff.

You have done it in their faces and they want to prove a point, keep up the CCTV warning signs and go covert. The muppets will expose themselves! Suggest you use another fitting team and hired cars, as has been said here before "more than one way to skin a cat"

Paul Exactly, we lost 2 x vandal domes from one of our customer' properties in Cardiff around 10 days ago - they managed to prize the units off of the wall inc the anchor bolts! The police reported to the customer that around 30 vandal domes had been stolen in this way on that weekend, but that they had some superb images of the persons concerned. The domes had resisted damage but not theft hence they were only vandal-resistant.
