Guest Richw Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 Wondered if anyone had installed any wristband PA transmitters, the only one I can find is Visonic Powercode wrist transmitter. Currently I use a Scantronic 4612 with pendant transmitters, but as far as I can see Scantronic don't do one??? Views on Visonic's pa transmitters would be great Rich
andyhodson Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 Yeah we've used one of the Visonic wristband ones. Not a lot to say about them really, other than they did the job. Watch out for the usual stupid person though who thinks it fun to press it, or thinks its a good idea to try them out from time to time. Andy Manufacturer
Guest Richw Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 Hi Andy Thanks for the reply, now got a couple of Visonic Powercode wrist transmitters, and a Powercode 4 channel receiver wired into a Texecom Prem 88 panel. All seems to be working well, I must say I am impressed at the range of these little transmitters. Rich
Guest MarkP Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I must say I am impressed at the range of these little transmitters. Out of interest what sort of range are you getting? Thanks, MarkP
Guest Richw Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 Hi I would estimate about 150-200 yards, I haven't tried any further. Regards Rich
