Alister Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 We're getting a number of Dedicated Micro's DS2 and D4 hard drive failures - more than I would expect. Also a lot of "Disk burn fail" messages when attempting to copy to blank CD-R's - (using Verbatim x 52 blanks). Any remedies/comments?

cutwitt Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Only remedy for hard drive failure is back to DM. Disk burn fail could be a number of things but again most likely a case of return to DM. As for comments
black knight Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 good idea IMO, but price is too high for general use in the market place i would think. Customers look at price and trying to explain to them the benefits of going this route would be hard work (bearing in mind i,m a humble ALARMS engineer and my CCTV knowledge is limited) paul THE BLACK KNIGHT "Any comments / opinions posted are my opinion only and do not represent those of my employer or Company."
