Johnny Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 it looks simular to the Kwik-Fit panel. Na its the new range of Aritech Chris Chubb dont use Aritech
stewymac Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 From what I hear both companies will merge as one. Whos name it will be is not yet known. Engineers jobs are safe but expect big changes in management level. A lot of faces will change and dont rule out a lot of big names from other companies joining the new set up. it will them and us as engineers go.....it happened at *** when thorn *** and modern merged..its still like that...thorn men stick together, modern stick together and old *** stick together...
Johnny Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 They do for national accounts I was a Project Manager on national accounts and cannot recall any jobs with Aritech panels.
Cubit Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I was a Project Manager on national accounts and cannot recall any jobs with Aritech panels. This thread appears to suggest differently. http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/comm...&hl=aritech
Johnny Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 This thread appears to suggest differently.http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/comm...&hl=aritech They have got some out in the field were they have bought companies but do not install new ones. I can say I have never fitted one while being there for 20 ish years.
Stal. Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 Got a good feeling about it being Chubb. Jobs will be safe, pay rise is a cert and the end of the ATS. Couldn't ask for more really UTC - The dawn of a new era !

AidenC Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Fingers crossed they dont decide to stick with initial's panel of choice (ATS) because its the bigger company, saying that UTP own guardall as well so i dont think they will stop using them.....so it looks likeit should be a winning situation all round
