breff Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Hi guys I remember reading about a problem with SD1's dialling Orange Mobiles, I think it rings, the person answers and then the SD1 hangs up? I've done a search on here and cant find the previous topic. Was this problem just with SD1 diallers? Im sure there was a remedy, something like adding extra digits to the phone number. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
Guest Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I think it was adding a pause or 2 at the beginning of the phone number. I have a similarly hazy memory of the same topic which I can't find either!
james.wilson Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 lol i remember something too, but that was to use pulse dialling. Tallbloke Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 I had a bit of a problem with an SD1 today. Dialled all 4 numbers, one of which was T-Mobile. The customer answered and was told to hold the line. No recorded message so he couldn't accept it anyway, so it went round again. The other numbers weren't accepting so I had to dis the line. I usually test on my number but I had a marginal signal. So, if I need to program pauses in, where do they go? Regards, TB
Darren Cooper Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Hello The SD1+ sometimes is a when working older BT exchanges can be a little to fast. To stop this simpley add 3 X 000 at the end of the phone numbers and all will be cured. OR If you are dialing out via a phone system then you will need to incert a pause after the 9. Darren The views above are mine and NOT those of my employer.
quasar Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 3 X 000 at the end of the phone numbers and all will be cured. you mean nine zeros or three zeros?
