Guest Alarm Guard
fire damaged ones can be a bit off bargain Some years ago a house in Leeds was totally destroyed by a fire that started in an alarm panel. It was an almost new house, but had to be demolished and re-built. The alarm was fitted by an electrician. I think all alarm engineers know how much power can be generated from just 12 volts, but lot's of other people consider it to be 'only 12 volts' and so perfectly safe... Guest
Some years ago a house in Leeds was totally destroyed by a fire that started in an alarm panel...... I heard via the rumour mill, that one of the cheap firms from round that way had a fire in a council owned house & the city council "banned" them from working in any of their properties.... Leeds City Council used an electrical contractors that were 'allegedly' responsible for a school burning down and also at least one house being gutted.......... but they still used them because they were cheap. Good, in'it?
hullofaplace
Surely the directors of these firms must realise they are fully responsible for there work and can in some severe cases end up being sent to prison.
