borderfox Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 I hate to rain on your parade but the price for this bit of kit is'nt the issue...the problen with any PCI card is the reliability of it,i think you would be better placed to save a little extra and buy a basic DVR..... Thanks for your reply mjw. Unfortunately, I was up to my eyeballs in work and didnt get back here. In the meantime, I have taken delivery of that card. I have a specific problem with someone blocking drains on me on a regular basis (I must have p****d someone off but can't imagine who...) - so given that its domestic and low funds, i'm trying to sort this out on a budget. I now need an IR day/night camera to go with this card. Any suggestions as to what might fit the bill? It doesnt have to cover a great distance - just a few metres to be honest. However, it would be good if it wasnt too obvious. I don't want to use this as a deterent - I want to catch the barstewards. Any suggestions appreciated.

Can you make any recommendations given my scenario (ie. domestic/low budget).? Also, I meant to ask you, when you posted originally, you mentioned that reliability was an issue. Was this from your knowledge/experience with this paritcular dvb card or dvb cards in general?
