Why is it I can view my pico over the network using PCanywhere or windows remote but my new 404H card when viewed cannot see the images but can see everything else.

Is it because my new card is hardware encoded ???

Hi, your supplier should offer support on both the hardware and sofware - have you spoken to them yet?

Thanks for the response.

The card is from obsolete stock and is no longer supported. I have already spoken to supplier.

just seems strange how I can remote view and operate but cannot see camera images.

I've seen this problem as well. I ended up reinstalling the software and making sure it didn't use overlay mode. It could be a graphics driver issue on the machine, it is possible as I've seen this as well trying to do something screen was totally black yet everything else worked fine, updated drivers worked fine.

I'd make sure your running the latest DirectX and the latest driver issue (or maybe 1 that's a revision or 2 behind that), if it's an ATi graphics card I would definatly check this, only time I've had problems are with ATi's and minor issues with they way some software "writes" to the card :|

Hi, If this is one of those four camera card like the ones sold on ebay you can use the client software to remote view, If you have the the same card as this and need the software send me an email to: dtwomac@tiscali.co.uk and I will send you what I have. Regards. Alan.
