Tilly
Cant see how that can be legal. The Highways agency have no powers to regulate or impose speeding fines on UK roads!
Richard Huison
Speed cameras can be run by private contractors to the Local Government such as Serco who run the Gatso's. But funding and revenue go directly to the M.P's slush fund. I too have seen the speed camera's, and its all going too far now. I am going to fit a 007 licence plate thingy to me car just incase. www.accesscontrol.ie richard.huison@accesscontrol.ie ACT "Where performance counts" "Is your Access Control system Vista Ready?" I have been back to check and there was no sign or warnings on the road coming around this corner. There is no point trying to the case. This was a mobile operated speed trap. Tilly
10% plus 3 is the acpo guideline... ie 30+3+3 = 36 mph = an offence personally, I wouldnt issue a ticket that low..
