Smart2 Dvr Audio

Hi All,

Just took delivery of my Smart2 8 Channel DVR. Everything is working fine except that I cannot get the audio to work. I have a microphone plugged into audio channel1 and the audio out is connected to my RF Modulator.

The manual says that by pressing the 'Audio' button I should be able to select between CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4 and SILENCE. The 'Audio' button doesn't seem to do anything at all. Nothing comes up on the screen when I press it and no sound can be heard.

I know the microphone works because this DVR was a straight swap from my old DVR which worked perfectly. I have swapped back and the audio still works on the old DVR but no matter what I do I cannot get it working on this one.

I have been into the setup menu and enabled audio on channel 1 for both record and playback and disabled CH2, CH3 and CH4. Nothing seems to allow me to use audio.

Any help would be much appreciated.
