Due to ever incresing electricity costs and mortgage rates :angry2: I need to make cutbacks and one of them is to switch the electric to my alarm off (Optima XL6) - how do I do this??

Might be hasty here, but sounds like a request to defeat a panel

Is it really 20p because Ive been asked this before and not really known, I would have imagined it was more than that?

I just done that quickly based upon panel ticking over on 125ma @ 16 pence per kw.

When i last looked at a leccy bill it was 16p for a kw of leccy which equalled 333 days at 125ma so i rounded it to 20p at a guess.

So if you told a customer 25-30pence it would give them an idea.

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
