bellringer Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I am going to install an informa speech dialer a a customers house and place of work, the house is fine as i have mainly done domestics but the works one has a PABX now my understanding of this is just put a 9 in front of telephone number are ther any other issues i may encounter?
Guest Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Should be as simple as adding a line access number. Add a pause after the line access number as some PBX's will miss the digits as it's hunting for a line. You could even reserve a line for the dialler and give it its own line access number or set the routing in the PBX. The other issue you may encounter is finding a spare analogue port on the system.
james.wilson Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I urge caution, i know i hate diallers but if you run anything through a pbx, what happens when the power is off? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
