digitel Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 what do you all think of the rokonet i wise for grade 3 installations and would you recomend any others .I know it all depends on the risk assesment and type of building and insurance requirements.
Guest rjbsec Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Had to remove a couple of these detectors in a warehouse setting (fairly "friendly" environment) due to repeated false alarms and anti-masking errors; we replaced them with Pyronix TMD 15 which resolved all problems instantly. We have also used the Pyronix Grade 3 Dualtecs with great success and so they are probably our detector of choice for Grade 3 installations. The iWise have setup issues and a difficult top fitting (due to be changed I understand) which causes us to move away from them currently.
james.wilson Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 we all have our choices after testing and deciding on a sensor, we dont use the rokonet. I would advise you evaluate a few over a period before swettling on a g3 sensor (before you ask we use the honeywell 7550A) securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

Tesco use them as their preffered DT as well. Dave
