breff Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 SD2 with a monitored PSU? SD2 has 2 outputs, they can be programmed for High and Low Temperatures, wire those into 2 of its own inputs and wire the mains fail from the PSU into another input. It'll need a phone line though. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
Guest Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 It'll need a phone line though. great minds ect...... I was thinking speech dialer, but if the power fails there will be no line to dial out on?? mentioned he can buy something off the shelf for a grand to do the biz, I've never heard of anything being a mere alarm monkey
breff Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 if the power fails there will be no line to dial out on?? How so? battery in psu. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
Guest Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 How so? battery in psu. Might be on a PABX, re other thread power fail lines gone. Get a Galaxy and use sms on a direct line. Saying that a SD2+ will do the same.
Guest Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 as far as i understand there is no proper lines in the building only stuff for the computers
