that doesn't work with the missus either ;)

Rob, I'll give you the sense of humour vote, but the question you asked was like saying ' I want to add a 2000bhp nos kit to my smart car, but I can't work out which is the front or back.'

The older I get, the faster I was.

I keep getting in the wrong side of mine and wondering where the steering wheel is

fair enough folks - i get the point!

I'll pay one of you guys to do it for me ;)

I'm just a keen DIYer!

Its a shame that no one HERE can respond to your question with a little understanding(come on guys this forum is open to the public as well as trade!!)

Your alarm goes off when you open the lid because it is tamper proof(you wouldnt want a buglar to open it unhindered would you??)..and had it was sort of stated before it is meant to do that as you was tampering with it!!!!..as for the wife prob can't answer that one

Hope this helps

That was'nt too hard was it???????

Hi,

When I unscrew the alarm box in the cupboard, the alarm sounds until I put the PIN in to reset it.

How do I stop it doing that!? I'm trying to install a dialer.

Thanks

To summarise what everyone has said:

It's supposed to do that, you might be a burglar.

The methods to solve the problem cannot be posted here in public for obvious reasons.

To do what you want needs an engineers manual and additional specific knowledge/skills.

There are safety issues (live main inside!)

So, NOT a job for a DIY-er, unless you put it in yourself and have all the manuals and other (secret) setup details at the very least. :!:

i agree with you here this is not a job for a diyer to do isnt it possible to call the company who installed it for you so they can come and do it instead?

cjt

I agree as well reading previous posts i don't think you could do this yourself???????????

Moral of the story: Don't post a dubious DIY question when the forum is full and the posts have gone quiet ... everyone will jump all over the thread
