tops1968 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Hi, i hope someone can help me. I have been in my new house since last July and no manual was left for my alarm, apart from how to change the code. I will be doing a lot of DIY in the house (its stuck in the 70's!!!) and need to get many rooms skimmed. Of course, the PIR's in most rooms will need to be removed temporarily or loosened while the skimming work is done. But as soon as i start to try to even loosen them from the wall, obvioulsy the tamper alarm is triggered. Can anyone tell me if there is a way I can remove them without the tamper alarm sounding? I would rather not call someone out for this work as with so many rooms to do, it will make it costly for me. Many thanks
