Galaxy Classic Sensor Wiring

I hope your right as we have just cabled a job in normal alarm cable, as that is what we were told to use. We have never used or installed Galaxy before, only using it on this job because that is what has specified. Are they any good, I know a lot of companies use them but I have heard that they do far to much when all you want is an intruder system.

b?I would higly reommend galaxy, which model you using G244 G260 or bigger :hmm:

My favourite is Scantronic, but in this case Galaxy has been specified to match their other sites. 'satsuma01' it will only be the basic model, no more than 20 zones.

Andy am i right in thinking rkps ect. are ok on alarm cable under 100m on the G2 & 3s

I am sure its ok on the new ones although we cable all anything with RS485 in beldon.

if you have it stocked its not worth the hassle, may aswell use beldon.
