martlewis Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Got a problem with Veritas 8c panel. Everytime we try to set it the panel makes a low pitch beep and does nothing. Same if we reset or enter code for any purpose, it just beeps. Any suggestions please? Martin.

kka Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 maybe entering the wrong code , has the power being off, the battery is dead and when the power has come back on, the panel has reset itself back to factory codes try the factory code in the manual. martlewis Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 Can't find the install manual and I changed the engineer code and wrote it in the install manual. Also I can't remember if I set the engineer code not to default on nvm reset!
Guest anguscanplay Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 locked out out at some point usaull caused by power problems have you had a quick/short power cut recently most lickely got a duff battery which will need changing follow the correct procedure remove old battery power down mains count to ten mains back on first stop sounders etc with code no battery on last
