C.Simmons Tech Services
I have fitted a camera nearly 500m away from controls and wired cat5 for NVT. I have a normal transmitter and passive reciever. Can I send the telemetry down the coax as usual or is it best to use spare cores for ptz controls, wired direct. From what i've read in the instructions it states it can do up to 300m with normal nvt convertor ether end. The camera is not a dome but a proper ptz baxall reciever/camera/controls Thanx Chris
breff
I've just looked at NVT's website and it says 225m(750ft) for up the coax. Looksy The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

breff
I think you can only go up the coax on passive baluns look here The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
