Guest anguscanplay Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Remove polarisation if any. Sometimes manufacturer like to rely on "the other one" to use this capacitor because it takes a lot of room.As a result if you're unlucky you have two devices where they rely on the other one and... it doesn't work. It already happened to me several times especially with cheap chinese USB video acquistiion devices and cheap cameras
uski Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Did u see my other post? I found the monitor will not resolve black and white cameras.Any idea how to get the monitor to "see" a black and white signal? Doh ? This is strange; where did you read that your monitor doesn't support B&W video ?
uski Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 it might be looking for the colour burst Didn't think of this one, well done
Guest anguscanplay Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Didn't think of this one, well done have to connect some old b/w mains cameras to a dvr for a customer could i have the same problem
Guest anguscanplay Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 your problem is that b/w is a standard called CCIR and colour is PAL. If your dvr only accepts pal then you might, but unless it the nastiest of the cheap it should have a mono input setting never let it be said that i hanvt learnt something new thanks
