i recently did a course in intruder alarms, whilst i passed and enjoyed the course the electronic side of things are still confusing, i now know were a duel tech goes and why, pir ect ect ect, it was them bloody resisters, double pole and fully supervised wireing im haveing trouble with, can anyone tell me were i can get a manual on these subjects preferably in laymans terms.

nor can mosst ov us but it dont stop us hellping .....

wait untill you have more posts under your belt before you start picking fault.....

The best bet to try and learn about end of line is prob from the gardtec 800 book,its nice and easy to see what its all on about and when you can follow that get hold of a galaxy one and when you have that sussed you can work on most panels......

PS spellllllling doesent matter to any ov us

B) Where did you do your course on alarms? Was it at collage or with SITO (or maybe with the TSRO!) and how long did it last.
