personally no,

i welcome these open dicussions as long as the good nature and mutual respect keeps pace, imo if members didn't complain, then we mod's don't know if we are doing right or wrong, and think were doing everything aok (omg now that would never do would it ) so the 'bickering' keeps our feet on terra firmer.

just remmember we are also members so seek if not actually atain to perfection (well apart from me of course )

Thats not correct, the board settings are such that if any Mod edits a post then there name and time is put at the bottom of the post, have a look at your own post I have just added this text.

You are right, The editors details are added, but not always noticed. - a case in point.

If a comment is wrong/inappropriate then yes, it gets removed. It's just that sometimes editing, not censorship, can change the context albeit unintentionally, leading to confusion for some and possibly annoyance for others.

and as i said ages ago its a public forum asking for improvments that could be made but its the mods having the arguments its no wonder bone etc think we are all out to do them

if this had been me and lotp one of use would have got another warning long before and the topic closed

For what its worth I never add words personally, generally only put some stars and reason if needed. Sometimes a simple one line reason is all that is needed not a novel explaining what is wrong.

Heres my two pence worth(for what it is worth)

I stumbled across this site about a year ago and i have to say i was and still am very impressed how this board has grown,what concerned me slightly was how certain individuals(i am not going to quote name but we can all assume who i am refering too) were using this site for a spring board for there own companies(and i don't think that is why dave set up this site??).With the introduction of public mods(and you guys are doing a great job) that to a certain point as now stopped

As for Dave not caring???? what planet are you from roger???...because it certainly is'nt the one i am on because if dave did'nt care this site would never have been born....but arftur is right YOU are trying(without any sucess)to belittle people and i will say in the time i have been dropping in this is'nt the first time,but on a closing note roger it does sound like a huge case of sour grapes on your part and i have to say i find what twaddle you have just posted highly insulting but if you do not like the way the site is run don't use it

this may get removed by the moderators(cos they are doing a great job) but this how i felt and i am not one to sit back and little some one spout rubbish

You know what??....You can please some of the people some of the time but you cannot please all the poeple all of the time....fact of the matter is no matter what is done to posts some one some where would feel agrieved and complain
