DDIES Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 good 8 core duct cable available from Newey&Eyre 7-2-8C PVC/twbc/PVC pvc braided steel Armour PVC then norm 8 core in side we have used lengths up to 500m but sure you can get longer if req not to expencive it's very expensive, it's about
arfur mo Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 hi all, on long runs armoured my present simular problems to screened cable, as the pF value could be degrading to any multitplexed signal, so if room allows it i'll always go for toughest uPVC conjuit. also allows for an extra cables to be run at the same time or later due to oversight perhaps, in standard cable so pro rata a lot cheaper than a single armoured. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
Monty Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 You can we just did at a job for cctv cables and alarm cables app 25m 100m duct we should have had own duct but only draw wire in duct with swa and water main !!! so we drew 2 -20m marshal tuffflex flex conduit through and then pulled cctv in one and alarm in other bit of a job but easer than digging another duct in . www.AllanMoncrieffAlarms.com
