arfur mo Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 theres been no further input on this thread from the o/p, some time ago i designed a garding system, it produced random sequences. the idea was buttons located around the offices then had to be pressed in the same order of the generated sequence for that patrol, with a keypad watched by a camera at the furthest point. the keypad and camera ensured the 'walker' could be identified (i.e. the tea lady) on any given patrol, and the random patrol prevented fraud and also protected the lone gaurd better by stopping the villains 'clocking' any habitual route. never got installed as the company moved to a large open plan warehouse, and my contact left their employ. was simple enough to do and so reasonably priced compared to using a pc controlled access system, today the remote pushes could be radio and moved about at regular periods to keep the gaurds on their toes regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
