Tom630 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Hi, I am installing a Texecom Permier 48 with a Radioplus Intelligent Receiver and using keyfobs for arming and disarming. I would like to setup a visual indicator to verify that the system has armed/disarmed when driving in the gate. The garage door is also on remote so I want to be sure the system is disarmed before opening the door. I have tried several of the outputs such as door strike and entry/exit but these only work if a door is opened andd a code used at the keypad. The fob disarms the system without an entry mode. Also, there will be multiple fobs so the use of a user output won't work. I could use the Bell Squawk but would prefer to not annoy the neighbours when coming and going. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom
antinode Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Your Premier should have an option for setting confirmation (strobe flashes for a few seconds) Even the low end panels have this feature, so I'd be surprised if your Premier didn't. With regards to the other question, are you intending to interface the door to the alarm then? So the door can't open until the alarm is unset? If so, the alarm side of it is very easy to set up, but the door side of it depends on what sort of interface connections the door controller has on it. Trade Member

The garage door is already on a seperate zapper and will not be integrated into the alarm. I would like to have the alarm disarmed so that the garage PIR does not set off the alarm. Also, I do not want the garage to be a entry/exit zone for security reasons.
breff Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Global options, configuration option 00, bell on arm fail, this also makes the strobe flash when armed/disarmed. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
