arfur mo Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 all panels have their KNOWN design flaws and weaknesses and are more liable to certain faults on certain models, but they need to be tested properly, not assumed outright to have developed that fault just because it is a familiar circumstance. so the best advice is the panel should be tested properly with a decent meter by a competant person, and preferably a skilled intruder alarm service engineer, way before stating the power side is damaged as a fact no matter how likely to be true. i can see no value or sense in frightenning public members with such 'worse case scenario' advice and when stating unsupported remarks made as though in this case it is a fact - Arfur. If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
