personally wouldnt touch it with a barge pole, see the threads about people's opinions on wirless systems. It is a DIY system and a thief will be able to see this from a mile away.

For £250 you could get a much better system, although not wireless. If you are intent on getting a wireless system have a look at Visiosonic Powermax.

Nooooooo don't do it!!!! :o

As Dale say's get a professional system fitted by a recommended local installer.

If you post your general location I am sure someone local would give you a no obligation quote and lots of free advice.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

like the other guys have said dont touch it its not worth the aggrevation you will get from that system. if you are really intent on a wireless system i would recommend a fm4000x. what part of the country are you in im sure there is someone on here thats near to you that may be able to help you out

Thanks for that advice guys. I am in the Ayrshire area near Paisley. I think you've convinced me that I should go for a hard wired system. :D

If you want a quote for a system give me a call as our company covers the central scotland region.

We used to install the AEI Panels in Zimbabwe - but the hardwired ones, 4, 6 and 8 zone units. They were extremely - erm - average! We had a few problems with the keypad clock going out of sync with the panels, and rogue signals being passed between keypad and panel.

If you have those problems on the hardwire version .... you better get religion with your wireless version!

I try to avoid 0870 numbers. It ends up costing a fortune in the phone call alone before you even buy anything. Sorry. :(

Its a national rate number not a premium rate number, charged out at BT standard national rate.

Lona, mebe you are confusing 0870 with 090, as 0870 is (as Colin said) BT national rate, and is used by many companies.
