jnbdjndjdndfnjk Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Hi, I am looking for you well needed help with my alarm system. Long story but I have just had to enter my own house with my alarm going off as my ex partner has changed the code. Anyway, I managed to disarm the alarm by taking out the fuse and disconnecting the battery. I then waited 20minutes for the alarm to stop. I now know the code but the system does seem to respond to it, after I managed to put the fuse and connect the battery back up it seems to blare out a internal alarm only which I managed to switch off using the engineers code "edit - Arfur" the #. I am now trying to use the existing code with no luck. Could this be because the system has wiped the code?? Every time I put in the code the system just does now react. I
amateurandy Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Does anyone know how I can resolve this, the alarm is a Tate/intellisense 800 Hi there, lots of people on here will know, but the house rules mean they can't tell you - have you read them? Also, it would be advisable to remove the engineers code from your post - such information can be very useful to criminals. To be honest, if you don't have the installation manuals and didn't install the system yourself you really will need a professional to set the system up again, and ideally service it at the same time.

arfur mo Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 you are at a point where you need to call in an engineer, no site members can help you via posts as you just might be an unauthorized person (trespasser), so even though i accept you might own the premises you can see our difficulty, legally it is a minefield if we assist you to overcome your systems security. so with respect due, this topic is being closed to protect this community Arfur If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
