nab1957
Hi there Can anyone help with this problem, the battery on my Veritas 8 control panel has gone down, so I replaced with a new one. Think I have done everything right, but now after setting the alarm when I go out, on re-entering when I open a door contact the alarm goes off immediately, I have lost the 30 second entry time to unset the alarm. I have to unset as normal but the zone light for the door is on, and I then have to reset as well to get this off. Any sugeestions. camerabloke
it sounds like it has defaulted to factory settings and as such will require an engineer to repair Eucam Security Systems 0845 4630 746 www.eucam.co.uk

breff
And Im assuming that the front door is zone 1? the default for zone 1 is entry/exit. The panel could probably benefit from a cold start. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

If so have you checked that you havent caught any wires and pulled one loose or even damaged it slightly? sw
