Callout Pay

Just curious as to how much you engineers get paid for an Out of hours callout.

Do you get paid for being on call etc then get paid for an actual callout.

I work in North East Lincs and get £20 per call out. I thinks its rather low given the responsibilty. It would be nice for some Managers to reply also not just the Lads.

we get £10 a night standby pay and for every call we have to go to its £25 just for going then its normal hourly rate so if you have to drive for an hour then an hour on the job then an hours drive home it can be ok money wise so if we do attend a call we tend to hang it out for as long as we can

on call 1 week in 3, £135 / week (£15 a-night/30 for a weekend day+night), time and half before midnight and double time after + all weekend. When on call covering east coast side of A1. Also back up to lads covering other side who can go leeds/birmingham liverpool etc - they do a 1 in 15 day rota.
