Callout Pay

Featured Replies

Just curious as to how much you engineers get paid for an Out of hours callout.

Do you get paid for being on call etc then get paid for an actual callout.

I work in North East Lincs and get £20 per call out. I thinks its rather low given the responsibilty. It would be nice for some Managers to reply also not just the Lads.

we get £10 a night standby pay and for every call we have to go to its £25 just for going then its normal hourly rate so if you have to drive for an hour then an hour on the job then an hours drive home it can be ok money wise so if we do attend a call we tend to hang it out for as long as we can

get paid £125 standby for the week, then minimum of 3hrs overtime per callout so if the call takes halfhour 3hrs money if the call takes 2hrs 59mins 3hrs money
